My favorite place to eat in austin area

Perhaps a home food feeling for Vietnamese, otherwise, a typical Vietnamese restaurant for the rest. After a few visits, I can recommend the place to some of my Vietnamese friends. The food is ok. Service is snappy, if you are at a table.Oddly, some of the tables that we sat at were wildly wobbly. This could be a serious concern for children as soups may spill and burn them. Recommendations:* Paying with cash instead since their card POS machine takes too long on some visits. Attached, I have included the menu.

This is becoming my go-to for Vietnamese food in Austin. They have a good selection of dishes that you may not be able to find at other pho places. I've been here twice when I had cravings for hu Tieu nam vang and they did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful, noodles cooked well and portions are generous. I'm definitely coming back to try their other noodle specials and varieties.

Overall the flavors were wonderful and everyone was happy. I got the Szechuan chicken which could have used some Szechuan peppercorns but was otherwise fantastic. Our waiter was very nice and certainly attentive. To top it all off three of us ate for under $40 after tip. I will definitely be back!

Decided to try this place out and was so glad I did! I got a vermicelli noodle bowl with stir fried shrimp. It was massive, so much food for the price! Tasty and the ingredients were fresh! Definitely will be returning soon.

I had the lemon chicken, husband had Tao’s general chicken. Soup was very thick not good. Other food was ok. Nice service however and yet I wouldn’t go back.

Interesting to find a Vietnamese restaurant that doesn't offer Pho. Back to the food review, the beef stews are pretty good but the egg noodles and the broth are completely the opposite of the delicious spectrum.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to. The food was super delicious and fast to come out. The prices and very reasonable and the selection is very wide. I've never been disappointed once going here. The wait staffs are very helpful, friendly and full of hospitality. I highly recommend this place and for sure will be back very soon.

Variety of dishes which are basically OK. Good for a quick lunch, but that's about it. Soup was good. No fancy atmosphere...but service is good and fairly quick. Vietnamese coffee is just OK but not worth the 3 dollars at all.

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Austin. Small mom and pop shop. Super friendly place. They offer both Vietnamese and Chinese cruisens. The Chiness dishes are not great but the Vietnamese options are off the hook.

I have been to Duy a handful of times and every time was amazing. Unfortunately I've only tried the bun there but it's so delicious I can't bring myself to order anything else. Perfect portions, tender, juicy meat, and fresh vegetables. The staff is friendly and relaxed and I love the bright atmosphere that the huge windows provide. Good prices as well. 7.50ish for a filling portion with lots of meat.

Spring rolls. Pho. Thai tea. Fried rice. What's not to love? Its pretty small so it's very limited seating. I had the #23 (noodle soup with shrimp and pork). It wasn't the best I'd ever had but pho is pho.

My whole fambily loves this place near us in the China Town off N Lamar blvd! My mom's fav has to be the crispy noodles with brown sauce over the mixed veggies and chicken? Or is it pork? I get one, my mom gets the other! Both have been SOOOO good! The food comes out from the kitchen SO fast too& nice big portions! It all seems fresh made & everything we've all tried (between my mom, dad, lil sister, boyfriend & myself) has been great! Easily my parent's fav new place to find that crispy noodle dish, plus it's so close-by.. I can usually drive over to join them! I usually can't even take pics of the food because i can't keep from tearing into it when it comes out >v> lol. MAYbe next time? No guarantees though X) I still keep forgetting to ask how you say the places name before i leave.. XD NEXT VISIT!!
